Stephen Boyd has over 25 years of experience as a classroom awarding winning classroom music educator and school administrator. Throughout his professional career, he’s documented what has worked and what hasn’t for students of all ages, no matter what they bring to the classroom. This inspired him in 2014, to launch SB Entertainment, LLC. It’s educational division addresses the professional needs of classroom educators specifically in the areas of classroom management and student engagement.
A masterful motivational speaker, Stephen has been lauded as a highly engaging speaker that not only keeps his audiences entertained, but also provides content that educates their minds, excite their hearts, and empowers their hands! Fresh from his invitation to the prestigious National Press Club in D.C., he has also spoken at the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the National Association of Alternative Education, The Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, Metro Nashville Public Schools, and ASCD, just to name a few! A 3rd generation minister, Stephen comes from a legacy of speakers whose influence significantly affected him! Stephen is also an author and singer/songwriter! In the fall of 2015, his article, Eliminate Ping-pong Behavior: 3 Classroom Management Strategies That Will Inspire Confidence in Your Teachers, was published by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) publication Managing Teacher Talent and received positive peer reviews. In 2020, he released a single entitled, Heal the Land, which was featured on Billboard/Mediabase Gospel Charts! Subsequently, he released a companion book entitled, Heal the Land: A Blueprint to Spiritual Restoration. In 2023, he was selected as a contributing author to Success Magazine Chief Editor Rich Parson’s book, Your Deck of Success, published by Perfect Perfect Publishing! The book became an #1 Amazon Bestseller in the US and in Canada, and is on track to become an international bestseller!
Stephen holds a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Music Education, an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree from the World College of Theology in Ministry, and a Master’s degree from School Leadership from Wilmington University. He holds certifications as a K-12 Music Educator, K-12 School administrator, Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor (YMHFA), Classroom Management Trainer, Student Engagement Trainer, Restorative Practices, RENEW (Rehabilitation, Empowerment, Natural Supports, Education, and Work) Facilitator, BPS Facilitator (Behavioral Principles & Strategies), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Non-violent training/ intervention.
